About the measurement, pricing and how we handle your data.
What exactly does Valos measure?
Whether AI – currently ChatGPT – mentions your business when a customer asks for a recommendation in your area, and whether it gives your details correctly. The free quick test asks 6 questions: 4 general recommendation requests – picked at random from a larger set for every test, just as real customers ask in many different ways – and 2 questions specifically about you. Basic asks 10 every month (7 + 3, always the same ones, so months stay comparable), and Full asks 17 every week, including your 5 own questions. The answers are compared with the public data in your Google Business Profile.
Do I see the same as my customers in ChatGPT?
The closest possible, but not exactly the same. We ask through OpenAI's official API, with live web search and the location set to your city. The app's answer can depend on the user's earlier conversations, the model version and the time. That's why every result is a dated snapshot, and trends are based on several measurements.
How is the score calculated?
The visibility score (0–100) has three parts: 50% recommendation (in how many general questions and in which position the AI mentions you), 35% data accuracy (address, phone, website – correct: full points, not given: half, wrong: zero) and 15% tone (positive, neutral or negative description). AI risk (1–10) follows from it. The calculation is deterministic and the method is printed at the bottom of every report.
Do you guarantee the AI will recommend me?
No – nobody can responsibly guarantee that, because AI providers don't publish how they rank. What we commit to: transparent measurement, a clear result and actions that improve how you appear in public sources (Google Business Profile, website, reviews). The next measurement shows how much they helped.
What's in the weekly mini report?
Every subscriber gets a short email on Mondays: the latest measured result, the data check status and one recommended action for the week. On the Full plan the summary is based on a fresh measurement every week, so you also see the weekly change, new mentions and competitor movements. If the AI gives wrong details about you, we don't wait for the weekly email – we alert you right away.
How much does it cost, and how do the plans differ?
The quick test is free. Basic (monthly measurement, weekly summary, alerts) is €25/month; Full (weekly measurement, competitor tracking, your own questions, review management, content plan) is €49/month, excluding VAT. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled any time and stay active until the end of the paid period. Yearly subscriptions cost 2 months less; on cancellation we refund 50% of the remaining period.
Do you help with social media too?
Yes, with advice and ideas. Every report includes tips for your trade (Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, website); subscribers get new seasonal tips every month, and the Full plan adds 4 ready-made post ideas a month. You publish the posts yourself – we never ask for access to your accounts. The tips are based on proven practice; how much they bring you is shown by your followers, your reviews and the next measurement.
What is the founding customer offer?
The first 20 subscribers get their plan 30% cheaper, and keep that price for as long as their subscription is continuous. Register your interest with the “I'm interested” button in your test report – we'll tell you first when we launch.
What data do you process, and where is it stored?
Only your business's public Google data, your email address and – if you open an account – a hashed version of your password. The database is in the European Union (Frankfurt). We don't store IP addresses, only an irreversible hash to prevent abuse. Questions are processed using OpenAI's service. Details are in the privacy policy.
What is ValosAI?
The Full plan's upcoming personal AI assistant. It knows your report, your trade and your style, so you can ask about your own business: what your result means, how to reply to a review, what to post this weekend. If it can't help, one click forwards your question to our team. It doesn't promise results and doesn't make up data.
How much work will it be for me?
Very little. Measurement, monitoring and analysis are automatic: once subscribed, you don't need to log in or keep watch. Every Monday and every month you get by email what's worth doing, and if the AI gives wrong details about you, we tell you right away. Most actions take a few minutes – e.g. fixing a detail, replying to a review or posting something.
Do you need access to my accounts?
No. We only work with public data: we never ask for access to your Google, Facebook or other accounts, and there's nothing to install.
